Lily Bengfort is an award-winning entrepreneur who has co-founded and built two successful firms, both of which were acquired by larger companies. Lily attributes her entrepreneurial successes to innovative and creative partners in business and colleagues on numerous Boards. Currently, Lily is President of UAS Safeflight Inc, a company developing communications technologies for Unmanned Aerial Systems. She is a Member of the UMBC Cybersecurity Advisory Board, and serves on USM External Advisory Board for the Momentum Fund. She is also an active supporter of Maryland Made products and is on the Board of Blackwater Distilling.
Ms. Bengfort holds an M.B.A from Loyola College of Maryland and a B.A. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. A former Howard County resident, Lily now resides in Queen Anne’s County.
