MSAC's Public Art Across Maryland Program promotes and supports the inclusion of art in the everyday experiences of Marylanders.

What is Public Art? It can be work of any kind in any media, indoors or outdoors, temporary or permanent, free and accessible, that engages the community who will experience the work. Through direct commissions, grants, technical assistance, and professional development we support those planning, making, and caring for art in public spaces across the state.

Artists are invited to apply for the Maryland School for the Deaf Request for Qualifications. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 25, 2024.

The Artwork Commissions program contracts artists to create artwork for new or renovated state buildings. Artists interested in being considered for Artwork Commissions should apply to the Maryland Public Artist Roster.
